It is made of 100% brushed stainless steel and as the company website says “the Platinum XL runs on Earth friendly finger-power. Just put the blade end in your nostril and twist it back and forth. Low and behold you will have perfectly trimmed nostril hairs. Throw in a lifetime “no questions asked” guarantee and I call it Perfect! I’m not alone in my opinion either. I can’t believe I’m getting this excited about a nose hair groomer but it really is one of the best twenty bucks I have ever spent.

I have to admit I was a bit skeptical when I ordered it, even after reading all the raving reviews, but it didn’t let me down. It’s got a hefty feel to it, which you will notice when you first hold it in your hands and the precision rotary blades just work. There is no pain, no pulled hairs and best of all no cuts or nicks. It’s just a little over 2.5 inches long so it’s perfect for traveling as well.

Cleaning is super simple too. Since it’s made of stainless steel, you can just rinse it under the faucet and never have to worry about rust or corrosion.

One last thing I want to mention, is the fact that it is manufactured in the good ole USA. Now this might not matter to a lot of you but for me, it’s important. I’m one of those people who will spend a little more to support American manufacturing jobs but of course the Groom Mate Platinum XL is only twenty bucks so it’s not really an issue.

I honestly can’t think of anything bad to say about this little guy. It’s very well made and works great. Just get one for yourself… You won’t regret it.
